The royal family resides in the centre of Copenhagen at the Amalienborg Royal Palace. You shouldn't be surprised if running into the Queen or any other member of the royal family!
The climate here has four distinct seasons. The temperatures vary considerably during the year, particularly during the winter period. July is normally the warmest month with an average temperature of 20° C and February is generally the coldest with an average of 0° C.
Danish is a difficult language for visitors to understand and to speak - except for those from Norway and Sweden. However, almost everyone in Copenhagen speaks English well.
