By plane
Copenhagen Airport is the largest airport in Northern Europe. It gives you a choice of more than 132 different destinations worldwide.
Copenhagen Airport (Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup) is the major airport for both cities Copenhagen (Denmark) and Malmo (Sweden).
Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is operated by SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) and benefits of the presence of worlds major airlines in all its terminals.

The Airport is located south of the city center (in Amager) and only few minutes away from the Oresund bridge.
You can reach Copenhagen Airport by taxi or bus right in front of the entrance and the railway station beneath Terminal 3 where, also, the Copenhagen Metro connects.
By train
Direct trains link Copenhagen with all major cities in Europe. More than 1.000 trains depart every day to local, regional, national, and international destinations.

Grand Central Station (Hovedbanegården), was built in 1911. It was rebuilt and extended with a modern shopping centre in 1994 and is now back to its grandeur from the last century, welcoming more than 80.000 travellers every day.
By car
If you are driving from Sweden and you are close to Malmo, the Oresund Bridge is your best choice. This link connecting Sweden and Denmark is one of the largest constructions of its kind in the world. It is a complex mega-structure consisting in a bridge, an artificial island (Peberholmen) and a tunnel. All stretching for no less than 16 kilometres.

If you are closer to Helsingborg, there are ferries running 24 hours a day to Ellsinore (Helsingør). The crossing takes 20 minutes and Copenhagen is within less than an hour drive.
By ferry
From Copenhagen, there are daily direct ferries to Norway and Poland.
For travellers from the UK, there is a daily ferry from Harwich to Esbjerg, 200 kilometres west of Copenhagen.
From Rostock and Puttgarden in Germany, there are daily connections to Gedser and Rodby, about 150 kilometres from Copenhagen. Crossing time Puttgarden-Rodby is 45 minutes, Rostock- Gedser 2 hours.
From Sweden, there is the frequent ferry connection Helsingborg-Ellsinore (Helsingør).
